Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Money Oracle mobile application or any associated website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ARX Technologies, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("ARX Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"). ARX Technologies, LLC may update these Terms from time to time; see Section 15 for how changes are communicated.

2. Description of Service

Money Oracle is a personal finance tracking application that connects to your financial accounts (via Plaid), aggregates transaction and balance data, and provides AI-assisted projections and budgeting insights. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Financial Advice Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Money Oracle is not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, broker-dealer, tax advisor, or financial institution. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All projections, insights, scores, and reports generated by the Service are for informational and educational purposes only. You should not make any financial, investment, or economic decision based solely on information provided by the Service. ARX Technologies, LLC expressly disclaims any liability for financial losses, damages, or adverse outcomes arising from your reliance on the Service's outputs.

4. User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any third party.
  • Immediately notify us at moneyoracle.support@gmail.com of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Maintain only one account per person.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. ARX Technologies, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

5. Plaid Integration and Financial Data

Money Oracle uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting a financial account, you:

  • Authorize ARX Technologies, LLC to retrieve your financial data (account balances, transaction history, institution names) through Plaid.
  • Agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/end-user-privacy-policy/, and Plaid's Terms of Service at https://plaid.com/legal/.
  • Acknowledge that ARX Technologies, LLC is a customer of Plaid and is not a financial institution, bank, or credit union.
  • Understand that ARX Technologies, LLC does not store, log, or have access to your bank login credentials — those are transmitted directly to Plaid using their encrypted infrastructure.

You may revoke Money Oracle's access to your financial data at any time by disconnecting your accounts within the app. Revoking access will not delete your Money Oracle account; however, personalized projections and insights will no longer be available. Financial data previously synced from that connection will be retained for 30 days after disconnection to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted from our systems.

ARX Technologies, LLC is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of financial data provided by Plaid or your financial institution. We are also not responsible for any outages, errors, or interruptions in Plaid's services.

6. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of Money Oracle may require a paid subscription ("Premium"). By subscribing:

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Billing: Charges are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your payment details are managed by Apple or Google, not by ARX Technologies, LLC.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
  • Refunds: ARX Technologies, LLC does not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be made through the applicable app store.
  • Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price increase via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Free tier: Features available without a subscription may change at our discretion.

7. Push Notifications

With your consent, Money Oracle may send push notifications to your device for purposes including budget alerts, spending summaries, and financial milestone updates. You may opt out of push notifications at any time via your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications does not affect your access to the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
  • Use any automated means to access the Service without our express written permission.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measure or authentication system.
  • Misuse the Plaid connection to access financial accounts you are not authorized to access.
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
  • Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair its proper functioning.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code into the Service.

ARX Technologies, LLC reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this section, including terminating their account and/or reporting them to law enforcement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, software, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and data compilations within the Service are the exclusive property of ARX Technologies, LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. No other license is granted.

The Money Oracle name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ARX Technologies, LLC. You may not use any of our trademarks without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ARX Technologies, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION;
  • ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED;
  • ANY CONTENT, DATA, OR INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE;
  • THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS;
  • FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS OR INSIGHTS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR ACHIEVABLE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ARX Technologies, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES;
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES;
  • FINANCIAL LOSSES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE'S PROJECTIONS, INSIGHTS, OR RECOMMENDATIONS;
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA;
  • ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

IN ANY CASE, ARX Technologies, LLC'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100.00 USD OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ARX Technologies, LLC FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF ARX Technologies, LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE).

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ARX Technologies, LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any provision of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right; (d) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party; or (e) your connection of any financial account you are not authorized to access.

13. Termination

ARX Technologies, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension or termination, except where doing so would cause harm or legal liability.

You may delete your account at any time by following the in-app account deletion process or by emailing moneyoracle.support@gmail.com. Upon requesting account deletion, your account will be deactivated immediately. All associated personal data — including your profile, linked financial data, and transaction history — will be retained for 30 days to allow for accidental-deletion recovery, after which it will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. You may cancel a pending deletion within that 30-day window by contacting us at moneyoracle.support@gmail.com. For additional details, see our Privacy Policy.

Sections 3, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 shall survive termination of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, which are available at www.adr.org. Arbitration shall take place in Hillsborough County, Florida, or, at your option, via videoconference. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver: YOU AND ARX Technologies, LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Hillsborough County, Florida, to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights. You also have the right to bring qualifying disputes in small claims court.

30-Day Opt-Out Right: You may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending a written notice to moneyoracle.support@gmail.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out." If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by: (a) sending an email to the address associated with your account, and/or (b) displaying a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ARX Technologies, LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: ARX Technologies, LLC's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. ARX Technologies, LLC may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.

Force Majeure: ARX Technologies, LLC is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures (including Plaid).
